In the event of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous material, pull the nearest fire alarm and dial 9-911 (from a campus phone). If dialing from a cell phone, also call 641-628-9000 to notify Student Safety and the Information Center Operator who will contact residence life staff on-call, the dean on-call and facilities staff on-call.
