Bereavement Leave

All .50 FTE or greater employees will be granted up to three days of paid leave for the death of a family member. Family members include spouse/partner, child, parent, siblings, grandparent, grandchild, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son or daughter-in-law or any person who is a member of the employee’s established household. A parent is defined as a natural parent, step-parent, adoptive parent or surrogate parent. This benefit is prorated for employees that are less than full-time.
